Screw pattern and edges
Fix boards with screws every 25 cm on studs and every 15 cm on edges, keeping screws 10 mm from the board edge. Stagger vertical joints between the two layers in double-layer walls.
Joint treatment
Fill joints with jointing compound, embed the paper tape while the compound is wet, and let each coat dry fully before the next. Always offset first- and second-layer joints.
